These are photo's taken during the storm 26/27 Sep 01.It was a strong aurora but seemed predominantly green.I could have done with a wide angle lens to get the 2 main bands which streched from horizon to horizon & reached a height of about 75 dg.

AQUILA OVER KNOCK HILL. THIS WAS THE BEST RED BIT
THE PLOUGH(URSA MAJOR) WAS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE MAIN DISPLAY
THE TWO MAIN BANDS,WITH DENEB ON THE LEFT, AND THE HEAD OF DRACO,BOTTOM RIGHT
FOR THIS SHOT,I POINTED THE CAMERS VERTICALLY, AND GOT A BIT OF AURORA CREEPING IN TO CASSIOPEIA. THE ANDROMEDA GALAXY SHOWS RIGHT OF CENTRE & LOW
